Escazal Films, the production company behind the successful series Les Petits Meurtres d’Agatha Christie, is producing a contemporary adaptation of Agatha Christie's best-selling mystery novel And Then There Were None. The six episode mini-series, for French broadcaster M6, began shooting on February 5th on the island of Guadeloupe in the French West Indies and in the south of France.

In this version, five women and five men are invited to a Caribbean island by a mysterious person. The one thing they have in common: they've all committed a murder in the past...

The series is directed by Pascal Laugier (Ghostland, The Secret with Jessica Biel) and stars Guillaume de Tonquedec (pictured, image copyright French télévisions), Samuel Le Bihan, Romane Bohringer, Mathilda Lutz, Sami Seghir, Manon Azem and Mariane Denicourt.

Filming will wrap in June, and the series is predicted to air in 2020.

Federation Entertainment will handle international sales.
