Stage Case Study: Witness for the Prosecution

This stunning major new stage production of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution opened at London's County Hall in October 2017.

Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions, with support from Agatha Christie Limited, have brought this unique production to the London stage some 60 years after it first debuted in the West End. Director Lucy Bailey, production designer William Dudley and sound designer Mic Pool create the tension and atmosphere that keeps audiences gripped.

Set in the former chambers of the Greater London Council, the action unravels in the courtroom itself as we watch the trial of Leonard Vole, accused of murdering the wealthy Emily French. With seats available in the jury, audiences are planted right in the centre of a gripping story of justice, passion, and betrayal.

The production is currently booking until September 2022.
